Attendance Calculator — Subject-wise, from Your Timetable

Add each subject's attended and held classes — or upload your timetable to fill in subjects and classes per day automatically. Everything stays in your browser.

%

With your timetable, this works out how many classes are left this term.

Fill subjects from your timetable

Upload a photo, screenshot or PDF. It's read on your phone or computer — the file isn't uploaded anywhere.

Works best with a straight, well-lit photo or a PDF from your college portal, with day names (Mon, Tue…) in the first row or column.

Subjects

  • —
Classes per week (optional, for the term plan)
  • —
Classes per week (optional, for the term plan)

Your subjects are saved in this browser only, so they're here when you come back.

Enter attended and held classes for at least one subject.

How it's calculated

  • Attendance % = attended ÷ held × 100
  • Classes you can skip = floor((100 × attended − target × held) ÷ target)
  • Classes needed in a row = ceil((target × held − 100 × attended) ÷ (100 − target))

Worked example

42 of 50 attended (84%) → you can skip 6 more and stay at 75%.

Assumptions and limits

  • Every future class counts once toward 'held'.
  • Theory, lab and tutorial attendance may be counted separately at your college.

Common questions

Is 75% attendance mandatory in India?

75% is the widely used minimum in UGC-affiliated universities, but the exact rule, relaxations and subject-wise counting are set by each university. Check your ordinance.

Why can't I just reach 75% by the end of term?

You can, if enough classes remain. The 'classes needed' figure assumes you attend every one of them in a row.
