Pick two dates. Tick 'include end date' when counting things like leave days where both the first and last day count.
Fill in the fields — the answer appears as you type.
Think an answer is wrong? Report it with your inputs.
How it's calculated
- Days = end − start (+1 when both dates count)
- Working days = days falling Monday to Friday in the range
Worked example
1 Jan 2026 to 1 Mar 2026 is 59 days (2026 is not a leap year).

- Dates are treated as whole calendar days (UTC), so daylight-saving changes elsewhere don't affect the count.
Common questions
Why is my count off by one?
Most counts exclude the start or end day. For leave, notice periods or hotel nights, check whether both days are meant to count and use the tick-box.
